Skechers Shape Ups

Source
As most of you probably know, I am crazy about shoes. I can’t have enough and I tend to fall too quickly in love with too many pairs of shoes. Because I am so short I have a tendency to lean towards shoes with a high heel but I also think it is important to have at least one pair of shoes that is comfortable and good for your feet. So I now thought it was about time to share my experience with Skechers Shape Ups Fitness shoes.

What is so special about Shape Ups is the elevated sole. Walking on the wedge ‘rocker bottoms’ takes some getting used to, but apparently that is where the magic of the shoes happens. These are the types of shoes that claim to promote weight loss, tone your muscles, reduce stress on knees, hips and backs and improve your posture.

I bought these shoes when I was in Los Angeles last summer, they are cheaper in the US than here in Norway and I simply could not miss the opportunity. I do not regret buying them. They are extremely comfortable to wear and because of their shape I actually do feel that they have improved my posture.

There are several different styles when it comes to Shape Ups. Personally I find some of the styles to not be the most fashion-forward looking shoes and I think it is because I find the wedge to be a little too much. But when I saw the fitness style I fell in love. They don’t really look like the typical Shape Ups but definitely have that feeling when walking in them.

I have nothing but nice words to say about these shoes. They are fantastic. They are perfect to wear when taking walks and I would say that they keep most of their promises. I honestly don’t know if they help someone to loose weight as I believe it takes more than a good pair of shoes to loose that, but I do find that they have helped my posture and that they reduce stress on my knees. So if you are looking for the perfect shoe that is comfortable and does something good for you, then I would recommend Skechers Shape Ups.

Manolo Blahnik Mary Jane

Source
It’s been a while since I’ve written about my shoes, one of my greatest passions. But for the past few days shoes are all I can think about. The weather in London is sunny and warm and it is finally time to hide the boots and winter coats in the back of my closet and bring out my pumps. Strutting down the street on my way to my university to hand in my crime fiction essay today simply made me happy because of the sun and the beautiful weather, but what made me most happy was to be able to wear one of my favourite pair of shoes. But like I said, shoes are all I can think about so I made a big mistake yesterday; I started looking for shoes online. I came across some great web pages where they had some great, cheap shoes, but there is one shoe in particular that I have been drooling over for years; the Manolo Blahnik Mary Jane.  It is so classy and beautiful and I was actually depressed yesterday because I can’t afford it. I know for a fact that Manolo’s are of great quality are very comfortable to wear, which is why I’m even considering buying these shoes. I even found a web page yesterday where they ship designer shoes outside of the USA, which turned me into a very dangerous shoeoholic. It was only a click away, but I didn’t do it. I have waited for years and I just want them more for each day that goes by. But I guess I can wait a little longer. So the day that I buy them is the day I know I can say that I’ve made it. That that simply can’t come fast enough.

A woman’s right to wear high heels

It is not easy to wear high heeled shoes, especially if you are not used to it. But wearing shoes with a high heel is so sexy and it makes a woman look elegant and very feminine. We women have to suffer for beauty and shoes definitely are a part of this category. If you are on a date or out on the town wearing supersexy shoes with that little black dress, it does not take long until you can feel the pain in your feet. And it the pain is coming, then that sexy walk you have going on is starting to look like bambi on ice. Not sexy. We’ve all been there, I know I have. Now I am getting very used to wear high heels and I actually feel comfortable wearing it. But it takes practice and I thought I’d share a few tips I have found helpful in this painful process of wearing sexy high shoes.

Source
  • It takes practice. Rome was not built in one day and it could take a while to feel comfortable.
  • Start with a heel that is not too high.
  • Consider the width of the heel; it is more difficult to walk in shoes with a thin heel.
  • If you are not used to wearing high heels, you should practice wearing the shoes at home before a night out. Then you know what they feel like on your foot and if you’re comfortable wearing them for a certain amount of time.
  • If the shoe has a high but strong heel it will feel more comfortable and stable to walk with.
  • Shoes with platform wedge heels can also be sexy, and because of this special heel the shoes does not feel as high as they are.
  • The most important thing to remember is to buy shoes that fit. If you buy them a bit too small they will pinch your feet and the pain will always be there when you’re wearing the shoes.

I hope these are some useful tips. Enjoy your sexy high heeled shoes, ladies.

A woman’s right to buy a Christmas gift for herself

Yes, I could not help but spend some money on myself just before Christmas, and I bet that it comes as no surprise to the people who know me well that I spent them on new shoes. I honestly have to admit that I don’t need new shoes, I just really wanted them. When I tried them on I could not believe how comfortable they were. In London, shoes like this are very popular now and you see people everywhere wearing something similar like the ones I bought. I bought these shoes at River Island, which is a clothing store which also has shoes and accessories. If you’re going shopping in London I would recommend visiting River Island. Anyway, when I asked the sales lady if they had the shoes in my size, which is a 36, she said they only had one pair left. It was meant to be and I was in love. She also emphasised just how popular they are these days and that they have to order more sizes quite often. I have been wearing them outside and I do not regret buying them. They truly are comfortable and perfect for when it is not too cold outside. They are no Norwegian winter shoes, but perfect for London. So Merry Christmas to me, and I hope everyone out there has a lovely time before Christmas as well.

A woman's right to shoes

I have always been interested in shoes, and that has also been my greatest weakness for so many years. I have to admit that it is torture to walk in a shoe store and not buy any shoes, because I almost always seem to find something that catches my eye. So that is why I about a year ago decided to only buy shoes I fall in love with, and buy shoes with good quality that last longer. I have actually saved money by doing this, but in return I fall in love with shoes that are a bit expensive. Being a student means limited with money, but you can dream about your perfect shoes. I have made a top 5 list of shoes I really want, but that I can’t really afford at the moment. But I promise that some day I will buy these shoes, because for me it really is true love.

I have wanted Manolo Blahnik Mary Jane shoes for who knows how long. What is so great about these shoes is that they go with anything, casual or dressed up. And I happen to know for a fact that Manolo Blahnik shoes are very comfortable to wear, so even though they are expensive I believe they are worth it. Because Mr. Blahnik knows how to make shoes for the female foot.

I happen to be a fan of the brand Burberry, and of course I have found a pair of shoes I really want. Like the Mary Jane shoes they go with anything, and the heel is not too high so I believe that you can wear them for quite some time without pain. I even have the perfect outfit for these shoes.

When I first saw these Dorothy Perkins Ribbon Tie shoes it really was love at first sight. These were actually not that expensive, but so far I haven’t found any shop that has my size. I guess that’s what it is like to be cursed with small feet, but hopefully one day I will find them. Because I can’t seem to get them out of my mind.

I actually just opened my eyes to Christian Louboutin, and I have to say that he has a lot of beautiful shoes. These shoes will be great on a night out with the girls, either dancing or for a drink. Or if you have a date they are a must.

One of my flatmates, Alicia, showed me a website the other day, called Modatoi, where they have some very nice shoes. Of course, me being me, I found a pair and fell in love. Again. I have been looking for a pair of really nice purple sandals, and these just screamed my name. They are not expensive at all, so I might just buy myself a Christmas present soon.
